PUT OUT AN A.P.B. ON THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE MICHIGAN

KID SIS:  “ANYONE IN THE BEVERLY SHORES/LONG
BEACH/GRAND BEACH/NEW BUFFALO areas PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED for a
16 foot hobie cat, sail number 63424 with white hulls, a blue tramp,
white mainsail, and blue jib that reads ABSOLUT VODKA…would
greaaaaatly appreciate notifications of any sitings either in water or
on land…”

Guys our sailboat has gone missing on the south shore of Lake Michigan.  It’s been in my family since before I was born.  After my dad’s side of the family let her die on the beach in front of my grandmother’s old house, William, David, and I set sail up the beach towards our stretch.

My sisters and their friends really took over trying to fix her up and though she’s never been back to being fully seaworthy, she was our boat.  She’s gone missing and we need her back.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS:  So it turns out the very girl who took all these lovely photographs is responsible for our loss.  She and her friend took LADY ABSOLUTE out without permission after dark and neither of them knew how to properly sail.  They were taken way down and off shore where they eventually turtled.  Because of their gross incompetence they swam to shore leaving her sinking on her side in the night, probably never to be seen again.  Luckily nobody was hurt but christ they had no business out there and it wasn’t their boat to abandon.  Thanks alot guys…
